Player Ratings...

Coaches in the 8U to 19U divisions are required to provide player ratings by week 9 of the season.  Trophies and medals will not be distributed to teams until the ratings are received.  Player ratings are based on a rating between 1 and 5.  1 being the lowest rating and 5 being the highest rating.  The ratings are not based on a comparison of the players on your team, but how they compare to the rest of the players in the entire division based on your observation.  The following is a description of each rating:

A player with a rating of 1 is below average in their technical and tactical soccer skills as compared with other players in their division.  They will generally show little to no increase in progress during the course of the season. Very few players should be rated a 1.

A player with a rating of 2 may be below average in their technical and/or tactical soccer skills as compared with other players in their division, but they have shown an increase in progress during the course of the season.  There should be only a few players that fall into this category on a team.

A player with a rating of 3 has average technical and tactical soccer skills as compared with other players in their division.  Most players will be in this category on a team.

A player with a rating of 4 has above average technical and tactical soccer skills as compared with the other players in their division.  It is not common for a team to have many players with this rating.

A player with a rating of 5 have advanced technical and tactical soccer skills as compared with the other players in their division.  Players with this rating generally show the ability to compete at a higher level.  It is uncommon for a team to have a player with this rating as there are typically only a few players with this rating in a single division.

Player ratings are to be e-mailed to the Registrar at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
